The Surrey Cook Book
The Surrey Cook Book
25 recipes and stories from my home county
This book contains 25 recipes from all the hard working peeps in the Surrey food scene with accompanying articles detailing the stories behind each one and where to find them in my home county. Many of the lovely people featured here are who I have shared my journey with along the way, like The Salt Box, Albury Vineyard and Crumbs Brewing.
There is a recipe in here by me for an Apricot and Sunflower seed batard that I hope you will love, and plenty more from lots of other people from cookies and cocktails to outdoor cooked wild venison with herb flatbreads, and beef short rib with salt baked celeriac.
You might be a local, you might be planning a trip, or you might simply like a little slice of England in your kitchen on the other side of the world. Come and share in our stories, from leafy Surrey.
