This knife is one I use for many kitchen jobs, most importantly, scoring my bread before it proves up for the final time.

For scoring a baguette before baking, or delicate sourdough decoration, a Grignette is the perfect super sharp tool to do the job, but for bloomers and cobs slashed before the proof you really can’t do better than a small serrated knife like this. This is a standard on my bread making kit list.
