NOW made out of STRONGER stuff!

This large peel is made of Birch wood ply, designed to be lightweight, tied with a hanging rope and tapered at the edge to help slide dough off when loading, and baked loaves and pizzas back on as you remove them from the oven.

These are natural wood products please expect them to have their own unique colourings and markings.

Measuring approximately:

49cm long including handle, 30cm wide and 6mm thick. (30cm/12inch dough area)

Care & Maintenance

Avoid water when cleaning these and instead remove excess dough with a dough scraper and excess flour with a brush just like your banneton baskets.

They will arrive to you in their natural, unfinished state and can be treated with a food grade mineral oil for a more hard-wearing finish if you wish!

These are not designed for extended exposure to the heat of your oven or for use as a cutting board.
