Hot Cross Buns

There have been many iterations of my classic Hot Cross Bun over the years and this one is here to stay. The traditional Easter spiced sticky fruit bun simply HAD to have a place in the club, and now it does. This year, bake them with me in real time :-)

 

Rosemary, Potato and Beer Bread

This deeply savoury loaf is perfectly matched with cheeses, dipped in a robust soup, or even my favourite way… simply toasted for breakfast with butter and honey. It’s a simple to make crusty loaf made special by stonebaking after and artistic slash for a beautiful burst. Hope you like this one.

 

Cinnamon Toast with Orange Block Icecream

One of my childhood favourites only this time made with leftover hot cross buns (if that was ever a thing) and served with an easy homemade icecream for a rather fancy looking, yet made out of very little, dessert.

 

Confit Garlic Whipped Butter Board

While we’re making our bread the star of the show, why not shine a light on the butter too hey? These soft and squishy, spreadable confit garlic cloves are easy to make and keep well in the fridge, use them to garnish this luxurious butter board with shaved parmesan, fresh herbs and sea salt. YESSSSSS
