Getting festive in the HomeBaker’s Club…
Hello Homebaker!
Christmas has arrived in the Homebaker’s Club and two more festive bread recipes have joined the Christmas category alongside all the recipes from past years including classics like Stollen and Mince Pie Buns!
This year we have one for the cheeseboard and a sweet Christmas treat.
Christmas Cranberry and Rosemary Ring Loaf
This sesame crusted loaf will make a stunning centrepiece surrounded by cheeses and cold cuts. You’ll be using an overnight preferment top impart incredible flavour upon your bread dough, filling with dried cranberries and fragrant rosemary and stonebaking for a crispy crust. This has been one from this years Christmas class here in the studio and it always steals the show!
Christmas Custard Brioche
These sweet treats have been designed to be super practical; on day one you get prepped! Make the dough, make the spice infused crème pâtissiere, and day two is just a case of shaping, filling and baking. Light a fluffy, buttery buns with a warming custard filling, this is a must to eat fresh from the oven!
And in the “with bread” section…
A Carrot Butter with Goat's Cheese, Honey and Pistachio and the greatest of all British roast dinner condiemtns, Bread Sauce!
Enjoy baking this Christmas 😊
See you in class :-)
Jack
